What Is Covered
Our Quality Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal domestic use, including:
•Fabric deterioration — premature thinning, pilling, or breakdown of the outer shell fabric under normal use and care
•Stitching and seam failures — splitting, unravelling, or separation of seams and stitching not caused by misuse
•Fill loss or shifting — significant and abnormal loss of fill material or permanent clumping not caused by improper washing
•Manufacturing defects — any fault in construction present at the time of purchase or arising from the manufacturing process
What Is Not Covered
This warranty does not cover:
•Normal wear and tear over time
•Damage caused by improper washing, drying, or care (please follow the care instructions on your product label)
•Damage caused by misuse, accidents, or negligence
•Fading or discolouration caused by exposure to sunlight, chemicals, or non-recommended cleaning products
•Products that have been altered, repaired, or modified by anyone other than Hotham & Hearth
•Damage caused by pets or pests
How to Make a Warranty Claim
If you believe your product has a defect covered under this warranty, please follow these steps:
Step 1 — Contact us
Email our support team at hello@hothamandhearth.com with the subject line: Warranty Claim — [Your Order Number]
Step 2 — Provide the following information
•Your full name and order number
•The product name and the defect or issue you have experienced
•Clear photographs showing the defect
Step 3 — We will review and respond
Our team will review your claim within 3–5 business days and advise on the next steps, which may include a replacement product, repair, or another appropriate resolution at our discretion.
Please note: Proof of purchase from Hotham & Hearth is required for all warranty claims. This warranty applies to the original purchaser only and is non-transferable.
Return Abuse Policy
At Hotham & Hearth, we are committed to offering a fair and genuine returns experience for every customer. To ensure this remains available to all, we actively monitor return activity across our store.
Where we identify patterns of excessive, repeated, or fraudulent return behaviour, we reserve the right to limit or decline future return and exchange requests — even where those requests fall within our standard return window.
Customers identified as misusing our returns policy may continue to place orders with us; however, those purchases will no longer be eligible for return, exchange, or refund under our standard policy.
Any ineligible items sent back to us will be refused or returned to sender. Hotham & Hearth is not responsible for any costs associated with the return of ineligible items.
We appreciate the overwhelming majority of our customers who engage with our returns policy honestly and in good faith. This policy exists solely to protect that experience for everyone.
